Textile Recycling

Textiles were banned from the trash stream starting November 1, 2022.

Barre has partnered with Big Brothers-Big Sisters to collect clothing, textiles, housewares, and more! These collections divert clothing and housewares out of the landfill. When you donate, you are helping our town and children across the state. You can use the drop boxes located at the Henry Woods Building, 40 West Street, and The Public Safety Building, 655 South Street.
