Winter Parking Ban Information

Section 128-2: When Effective

The winter parking ban goes into effect with the first snow/ice storm until March 15th or later if snow or ice occurs.

 

Section 128-3: Parking Prohibited

There shall be no parking upon any roadway in such a manner as to impede the removal of snow or ice either during or after a storm.

 

Section 128-4: Parking in Business District

There shall be no parking in any business district during periods of four inches or more of snow.

 

Section 128-5: Available Parking Areas During Storms

Parking is available during storms at the Municipal Parking lot located off of Mechanic Street, at 40 West Street (Town Administration Building) and the Municipal Parking lot adjacent to the South Barre Common on Main Street.
